History and use
A crystal whisky glass sold on the Great South Pacific Express.

The Great South Pacific Express was introduced to Queensland Railways in 1997 as a luxury tourist train to travel between Cairns and Brisbane and also Sydney and Melbourne following a bogie exchange at Acacia Ridge. The features, fittings and material culture of the train were all designed to promote a luxury experience. These crystal glasses are a fine example of the luxurious appointments experienced by passengers.
