History and use
This certificate was presented to Air Raid Wardens by the Queensland Civil Defence Organisation in recognition of their service during World War 2. Ellen Mouland (nee Swan) became an Air Raid Warden in her local Air Raid Precautions team (ARP) and her husband, World War 1 veteran Francis Mouland, joined the Volunteer Defence Corps (VDC).
