History and use
This trophy was presented to winners at the annual Queensland Railway Ambulance Corps (QRAC) Competitions. These competitions started in 1914 and included a number of events such as stretcher building, improvised material, supplied material, treatment and recovery.

This trophy was presented to Jan Lobwein and was engraved with ‘1986 Wife of Employee First Place”. These trophies are representative of the partners of employees within the QRAC from the late 1980’s to the early 1990’s. They also represent the social engagement and participation of employees and their families within the Queensland Railway Ambulance Corps.
