Survey mark placed by Surveyor C.T. Bedford while checking the survey of the Queensland and Northern Territory border. His survey took place in 1886 and he surveyed from Boulia to Tobermoray. The bottle was retrieved by the Institute of Engineering and Mining Surveyors
