Description
A Gauge 1 (1:32) scale electric locomotive painted in green. The model is a Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB, Austrian Federal Railways) 2-6-6-2 Be 6/8 II electric locomotive. This particular model is based on a locomotive that was exchanged to the ÖBB by the Swiss Federal Railways in the late 1970s. The distinctive red paint for the side rods was added by the ÖBB after the exchange and this feature is represented on the model. Märklin released this model to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of railways in Austria in 1987, it was initially released only to the Austrian and Swiss markets before being available to the rest of the world in 1988. The model is housed in a cardboard box that features an image of the locomotive on both sides along with a wooden display board stained red and a commemorative booklet. The Märklin product code is 5755 for this model.

History and use
The T-House model rail collection is a collection of national and international significance due to the size, quality and scope of the collection.
The collection, assembled over 30 years from the 1970s to the 1990s, holds 10 000+ models of locomotives, carriages and wagons. The collection is in excellent – often mint – condition. The models were collected by Mr Marsden Williams, who was born, raised and spent his life in the Wollongong area. Mr Williams was a business man who was renowned for philanthropy, he was an intensely private man, who nevertheless was well connected across the Australian business world. His 40 year fascination for model railways reflected his own interest in precision engineering, and his financial success allowed him to pursue his interest to a remarkable extent.
