History and use
This Anzac Day booklet was produced for primary school students in 1916. It was published by the Queensland Department of Public Instruction, later later the Department of Education.

It commemorates the landing at Gallipoli of the Australian and New Zealand troops on 25 April 1915. Anzac Day was first held in 1916, a mere five months after the evacuation of the Anzac troops from Gallipoli in December 1915.
