Description
The model of a red round body jack coach on leather suspension is indicative of Cobb & Co's earliest coaches imported into Australia (Victoria) in the 1850s from Abbot Downing of Concord New Hampshire in the United States. Other coach proprietors also imported similar coaches from American builders. Cobb & Co commonly used five horse teams to pull coaches from the 1860s.

The model jack coach is of a style used by Cobb & Co in the 1850s and 1860s, imported from Abbot Downing in Concord New Hampshire, USA. This style coach was also commonly used in the United States in the second half of the 19th Century.
