History and use
The model Cobb & Co coach is of a style used in Queensland from the company's commencement of operations in the colony in 1866. The leather thoroughbrace suspension is typical of that used by mail coaches such as Cobb & Co's. Cobb & Co often used five horse teams as depicted by the model. Such coaches were made in Cobb & Co's coach building works in Bathurst and Hay NSW, Petrie Bight and later Charleville in QLD, and Castlemaine Victoria.

The model by Len Fulton took 12 months to complete, in 2004.
