Description
Cigar scissors. These were used to cut a small section of the end of a cigar to allow air to 'draw' more readily. The cutter has positions for two thicknesses of cigar, as well as general scissor blades. The small cigar scissors were stamped 'Cobb & Co' and may have been a corporate gift for customers or staff.

Cigar scissors were used to cut a small section of the end of a cigar to allow air to 'draw' more readily.Cigars were very popular with men prior to the First World War, after which cigarettes became more popular.
