History and use
This is a model Twenty Two 2F series tractor manufactured in 1935. It has the wide track gauge of 50inches. This was uncommon for Australia, so it is believed that the tractor may have come from New Zealand because the wide track was well suited to mountainous climbs.

The model Twenty Two relaced the model Twenty. It had a new overhead valve engine. It was extremely popular with customers and sold well for both farming and construction applications. 40inch wide tracks and 50 inch wide tracks were offered. The Twenty Two was manufactured from 1934 to 1939, in series 2F and 1J, with approximately 15,156 were produced.
