History and use
This placard was made and carried by Brisbane woman, Elodie Casey, when she took part in 'Strike 4 Climate' march in Brisbane on 15 March 2019.

In August 2018, sixteen year old Swedish schoolgirl, Greta Thunberg, started a global campaign for climate change action that culminated in coordinated global protests by young people and school children on 15 March 2019.

An estimated 150, 000 students and adult supporters across Australia joined nationwide climate strikes in over sixty cities and towns across the nation, demanding immediate and urgent leadership from Australian politicians to tackle climate change. Internationally, students in over a hundred countries also took action.
