This Indenture made this Twenty-first day of August one thousand nine hundred and \ fifty-six between* Charles William Norman WALLACE \(Full name of guardian) of Churchill, in the State of \ Queensland (hereinafter called the "legal guardian"), of the first part* Barry WALLACE \ (Full name of apprentice) of Churchill \ aforesaid, who on the Ninth day of March last was of the age of Fifteen years \ (hereinafter called the "apprentice"), of the second part* Gerald Vincent MORIARTY \ (Full name of employer) of Brisbane \ in the said State Commr. for Railways (hereinafter called the "employer"), of the third part and Harold David Noyes of \ Brisbane, the Chairman of the Group Apprenticeship Committee (Chairman of the Executive) (hereinafter called the "Chairman") of \ the fourth part: \ Witnesseth as follows: \ 1. The apprentice of his own free will, and with the consent of the guardian, hereby binds himself to serve the employer as his apprentice, and to \ learn the trade of a BOILERMAKER, for a period of five years, from the Nineteenth \ day of March one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six.
ENDORSEMENT \ This is to Certify that the \ term of apprenticeship \ stated on this Indenture \ has been served. The \ Employer reports that the \ apprentice has attained \ more than the average \ proficiency. The apprentice \ has been issued with a \ Final Examination Certificate \ having passed the \ Practical Workshop Test \ and the final examination \ for the prescribed \ Technical College Course \ Chairman, \ Apprenticeship Executive, \ Queensland \ 5th September, 1961
