Description
A rectangular brass plate with raised lettering cast into it. The backing of the plate has been painted in gloss black with the lettering unpainted. There are four holes in each corner of the plate.

History and use
The English Electric Company of Australia built 45 1300 Class diesel locomotives for Queensland Railways between 1967 - 1972. This builder's plate is from No.1339 which entered service on 29 July 1971 and was written off on 4 February 1988.
