History and use
Industrial Engineering, Queensland Division were based in Wacol, Brisbane. The firm started providing Queensland Railways with rolling stock in the 1970s. In 1972-73, Industrial Engineering supplied QR with 102 QFX aluminium grain wagons. The following year, the firm supplied a further 40 QGX grain wagons.
