History and use
This builder's plate is from Queensland Railways diesel hydraulic locomotive, DH7. Queensland Railways ordered 73 DH class locomotives from Walkers of Maryborough. They were delivered between 1966 and 1974.

DH7 was delivered in September 1968. It was written off in June 1990 and sold to Mt Isa Mines in 1991. The locomotive was then sent to Bundaberg in 2001 for conversion to run on sugar lines.
