History and use
Steelweld Constructions of Wacol, Brisbane produced a number of tank wagons for Queensland Railways and private companies during the 1970s and 1980s. Tank Wagon classes produced included: OLAO, OLY, OJY, OSO, OBAO and OTO.

The firm also built four LPY Class gas wagons for Queensland Railways in 1974.
