Large model of 1200 Class No.1205 diesel electric locomotive. Made of wood in QR livery of light blue, white and grey with yellow lights and black fittings and wheels. The red "QR" logo appears on both sides of the bonnet. The headboard shows "Sunlander".

History and use
This wooden model is believed to have been built during the 1950s for display at a Queensland Industries Fair promoting both Queensland Railways' dieselisation plans and the "Sunlander" air-conditioned train service between Brisbane and Cairns. The paint scheme of the model was updated during the 1970s to incorporate the new Queensland Railways "QR" logo for further public display.
