History and use
This eharo mask is one of three styles of masks made by the Elema people of Gulf province in Papua New Guinea.

This mask is currently being exhibited as part of the "Paperskin: Bark Cloth of the Pacific" exhibition, travelling around Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand in 2010.
