History and use
This pandanus fibre weaving from Samoa replicates a full tea set complete with teapot, cup and saucer, sugar bowl and milk jug. The teaset was made in the 1930s for a Mr and Mrs Eden of Brisbane. Original letters from the donors suggest that the set was made by ‘the wife of Tipi.’
