History and use
This bowl-shaped vessel with little or no neck and a slightly restricted orifice is the sero, a common cooking pot. A sero will often have two to four handles, of roughly flattened triangular shapes marked by a scallop design. Further elaboration involves applied coils meandering around the pot and possible decoration with finger indentations.
