Description
Bark cloth stencil, DRAUDRAU, cut from cardboard. It has been used with dye made from DOGO mangrove bark, to which chimney soot has been added. This pattern, when printed, forms a long narrow rectangle 85mm x 23mm. It features a central column with 2 equilateral triangles at either end, and 5 equilateral triangles pointing out from the column, suggestive of the cadduceus or double strand of DNA.
