Small Egyptian a calcite heart shaped funerary vase. Translucent white and yellow-brown calcite, with drilled interior, polished exterior, short neck, handles on the shoulder, flat base, no inscriptions.

This object was said to have been discovered during excavation of the Pyramid of Cheops, Giza, in 1941. It is thought to date to the Old Kingdom (c 2686-2200 BC) and may have been a funerary vase.
