History and use
Egyptian blue coloured faience cylindrical beads strung to make a bracelet for the tourist trade. It is likley these beads were once part of a mummy-bead net. Because faience beads were used for a long tme period, it is hard to date these beads. The beads could date from the Old Kingdom to the New Kingdom (c 2686 - 1069 BC).
