History and use
This pottery vessel held approximately 100 grey-brown lozenge-shaped objects of 2mm in length. These resemble the seeds of the genus Matricaria, a group of small flowers including chamomile. It is likely this vessel and its calming seeds were left as an offering at a Tomb, for use in the afterlife.
