Description
Pottery fragment, possibly from a handle, or part of a dark-grey terracotta bowl or urn. Possibly Roman. The piece is a handle fragment from a large vessel, the paste is grey, with a scattering of small inclusions, the texture is course, with a clean fracture. The handle is cylindrical in profile and curves down quite sharply from the horizontal. There is some slight pitting and eroding of the surface.
