Description
Egyptian bracelet, comprised of a series of blue-green, cylindrical faience beads, varying slightly in size, shape and colour. The bracelet ends in two triangularly fashioned faience pieces, perhaps to aid closure via fastening.

Egyptian faience is a ceramic material with a siliceous body and brightly coloured glaze.
Faience (composed of quartz, alkaline salts [natron or plant ash], lime, and metallic mineral-based colorant)
Glaze (formed by alkali and lime reacting with silica to form the glaze)
History and use
Egyptian blue coloured faience cylindrical beads strung to make a bracelet for the tourist trade. It is likely these beads were once part of a mummy-bead net.
