Rectangular wooden box to house hydrometer. Hinged lid with button latch. Box corner construction. Small brass makers plate on lid. Two main compartments inside to accomodate hydrometer and weights, and hydrometer cylinder. Small pegs to secure weights. Velvet lined with cotton wool padding on lid.
