History and use
This necklace, of green faience cylinder tube beads, and brown disk beads, with central blue shabti pendant, was made for the tourist market, being restrung from existing old beads, and is not an authentic ancient egyptian necklace. The beads from which this necklace was made, are however, authentic and are from ancient times. Beads were likley restrung for such a market.
