History and use
This style of Cobb & Co. coach was built at the company’s factory in Charleville, although it was extensively re-built in Col Ferguson’s Toowoomba Coachworks in the 1950s. The colour scheme adopted was typical of that used in the southern states and in Queensland before 1900, when white was adopted as the colour for many coaches. (Bolton Collection)
