Hand made small juglet, in beige pink clay with whitish slip. Bulbous body rises to squat neck and overturned mouth, with fllatish handle.

Inclusions to make the clay less sticky, reduce shrinkage, increase resistance to thermal shock and strength prior to firing.
History and use
This small pottery vessel was said to have been collected from Luxor in the 1930's. It is similar in form to small Roman glass vessels, and larger sized pottery jugs, however this example is made in pottery form and is considerably smaller.
