Biography

Initially part of the Commonwealth Prickly Pear Board. Taken over by Biological Section, Queensland Department of Lands in 1939. In 2007, the research centre was incorporated into Biosecurity Queensland, now part of the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI).
