AG Jackson

Biography
Trading name for Alfred George Jackson who was an electrical engineer. Jackson became a part of owner of a company called Jackson and Harriss' based in Brisbane in 1896. He later became the sole owner and the company was then known as AG Jackson. The firm designed fire alarm systems and electrical fittings.

The company acquired the rights to the Synchronome name and patents in 1903. After acquiring these patents the firm was renamed the Synchronome Electrical Company of Australasia in 1904.
