Etymology: 'Horned' - presumably alluding to the sharply pointed tubercles along the back and flanks.
Snout-vent length: To 144 mm.
Distribution: Found in the Wet Tropics rainforests of north-eastern Queensland.
Habitat: Rainforest.
Conservation status: Least concern, Nature Conservation Act (Qld).
