Description
Portable radio, AWA Radiola. Brown bakelite case with a sprung, latched door which covers the operating dials and speaker. On the inside of the door is a station logging card (see above). There is a white frequency dial at the top and a volume (?) control at the bottom. There is a leather carry handle attached to the top.

History and use
This A.W.A. Radiola personal portable radio is contained in a neat closable bakelite case. Despite its size it bears a striking resemblance to some of its bigger cousins, the mantle radios.
