Terrence J. Clark
Biography
In the 1970's the "Mr Asia" drug syndicate, originating in New Zealand with Terrence Clark at its head, imported hundreds of kilograms of heroin into Australia, New Zealand and Britain, with a conservative street value in 2004 of about 850 million Australian dollars. The gang, and Terrence Clark in particular, were also noted for extreme vioence and multiple murders, as well as a free spending lifestyle that seemed to validate every Hollywood cliche about rich and sexually active criminals. The murder of one of the gang members by Mr Clark in Britain after a botched drug deal in Thailand, and the subsequent discovery and identification of the body finally reulted in Terry Clarks arrest in Brisbane, extradition to Britain, and conviction for murder.
