Murielle Jean Brewer

Biography
Murielle Jean Brewer (nee Jamieson) was possibly born in Ireland before migrating to Brisbane. She lived most of her life in Brisbane around Kangaroo Point/West End area. During WW1 Murielle assisted with the Brisbane Girls Club. She married Francis Joseph Campbell Brewer in April 1917 before he embarked with his batallion. Pregnant with their first child, Murielle moved in with her mother and was assisted by two sisters. When Brewer returned the couple moved in together. In all they had five children: Fay, 1917, Allan 1920, Robert 1922, Jean 1924, Frank 1929. During WW2, Murielle assisted the Red Cross.
