Lois Brown
Biography
Lois Brown (born Lois Cripps) is the subject of a donation of Girl Guides ephemera that was gifted to the Museum of Tropical Queensland around 2012. The objects - all from Lois' time in Townsville's Brownies and Girl Guides in the 1950s-1960s - were donated by Lois' cousin, Robyn Carolyn, with Lois' permission. The items were located in the conservation freezer in 2019, after having been placed in there upon receipt in 2012. Acquisition process commenced July 2019 (Sophie Price, Assistant Curator Anthropology).
