The Tusked Frog is medium sized. It is back is brown with dark blotches. It is found in south-eastern Queensland and north-eastern New South Wales.

The Red-triangle Slug is common in the greater Brisbane region of south-eastern Queensland. This species which lives in coastal forests from around Wollongong NSW north to Mossman in northern Qld has many colour forms.

The Red-rumped Wisp is a tiny damselfly that inhabits a variety of standing water habitats, including small, well-vegetated ponds, dams and swamps. It is very similar to the Pgymy Wisp but males have more of the tip of the abdomen reddish. However, only female Red-rumped Wisps are known from south-east Queensland.

The Springs Flatwing is a moderately large damselfly that inhabits small streams and boggy seepages in wet forest, particularly rainforest. The adults are black with metallic green iridescence with yellow to orange-yellow markings on the thorax.

The Golden Flatwing is a large, orange and black damselfly that inhabits creeks, streams, and boggy pools in rainforest and other wet forests. It is very similar to the Flame Flatwing but the distributions of the two species do not overlap.

Redclaw crayfish make short burrows around the waterline, or underneath submerged rocks and fallen trees. Introduced to south-east Queensland through aquaculture, farm dams, and aquarium interests, and now feral in Lake Samsonvale, Wivenhoe Dam, and freshwater sections of Bremer and Brisbane Rivers.

The Red-mouthed Stromb is one of the most abundant and widespread of the Indo-Pacific stromb species. This species can be very common at certain muddy-sand, seagrass and lagoonal localities and is a prized food in many parts of Melanesia, and hence harvested commercially.

The Chalky Percher is a small dragonfly that inhabits standing waters, including lakes, ponds, swamps and temporary pools. Mature males have most of the body covered in a pale bluish powdery coating and black tip to the abdomen. Young adults are yellowish with black markings.

The Red Swampdragon is a medium-sized dragonfly that inhabits swamps, and shaded dams and pools along streams and watercourses. Mature males have yellow thorax with dark markings and a thin red abdomen with a black tip.
